I don't think you will find a left leaning poster here that will say heads of agencies didn't have biases in the past. Everyone has biases and in general Democrats sought good people to lead Federal agencies. I will say that prior to 2016 even the GOP did. I will say that in general, the Democrats appoint people who's goal is the betterment of the US, enforcement of laws and the protection of the Constitution. When it comes to the GOP that slope has been sliding since Nixon though. But because people have a different perspective doesn't mean either side is wrong. In fact Democrats and posters here in general are not afraid to call out questionable decision by Democrat leadership. And let's face it bad decisions happen. It's not necessarily evidence of some grand collusion against Americans. You know what, we even know that sometimes they seek to mislead us on something for some reason.

That said, MAGA Republicans are seeking to DESTROY the government from within. Period. They want to burn it ALL down. They are seeking to destroy all faith in us Institutions that while flawed have overall done the work of the people for a very long time. They see boogeymen where there are none and their leader helps create them with fictitious and outlandish lies sometimes on a minute by minute basis. And the MAGA sheep gobble them up without question. I have never in all my years (I feel old saying that) seen so much easily disproved trash taken as gospel and repeated over and over by either side as we have seen since Obama was elected and the GOP lost its collective mind fully. And it has escalated EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Y'all have so much fear and hate rotting your brains it is a wonder you can get out of bed - that's probably the hate over powering the fear though. The right is like a paranoid schizophrenic with an arsenal of nukes right now - which is literally true. If you can't see that - baaaaah.
