"Putin told Trump that Russia is not going to give up on its goals in Ukraine, Ushakov said, adding that Russia sees its peace talks with Ukraine as a bilateral issue that the U.S. shouldn't be actively involved in.
What's next: Ukrainian officials said President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to speak with Trump on Friday to discuss the pause of the weapons shipments."
;; Well, Donald Jehovah Trump now his Marching Orders from Vlad. I'm sure he'll break the news to Zelensky kindly.

Alternate Headline:
"Putin tells Trump what to do about Ukraine and Iran."
Russia and Iran are allies. I expect Trump to never mention Iran again.
As for the Ukraine, it's now part of Russia once more.

Vlad actually made Lil' Donnie wait for an hour for him to answer the 4:00 scheduled phone call because he was talking to a room full of oligarchs (Russian, supposedly, lol).
Then he threw some shade at the US President:
"He apologized to the host and the crowd and announced that he is going to have a phone call with Trump and requested the audience, "Please, don't be angry. I understand that we could talk more, but it's so awkward to make [Trump] wait, he could get offended."

UPDATE:
"Trump said he had a long call with Putin on Iran and Ukraine. According to the Kremlin, the call lasted more than an hour.
Trump said he "is not happy" about the war in Ukraine and stressed he "didn't make any progress at all" on this issue in his call with Putin."

ALSO:
"China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi reportedly told the EU's top diplomat Kaja Kallas on July 3 that the country cannot afford for Russia to lose the war in Ukraine amid fears the U.S. would shift focus towards Beijing, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported, citing sources familiar with the conversation.
As the war in Ukraine drags on, Wang's reported comments suggest that Russia's war in Ukraine may serve China's strategic needs as focus is deviated away from Beijing's mounting preparation to launch its own possible invasion into Taiwan.
China has been a key ally to Russia during its full-scale war, helping Moscow evade Western sanctions and becoming the leading source of dual-use goods fueling the Russian defense industry."

@#4 ... President Trump said on Thursday he made no progress in his call with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine. ...
Why would Pres Trump seem to think he might make any manner of progress with Pres Putin?
I mean, really.
Is Pres Trump that unaware of what may be happening between him and Pres Putin?

"I'm very disappointed with the conversation I had today with President Putin, because I don't think he's there. I'm just saying, I don't think he's looking to stop, and that's too bad," Trump told reporters late Thursday night after landing back in Washington after his rally in Des Moines, Iowa."

"Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has vowed to back Ukraine in its quest to join the European Union. She also added that with the U.S. deciding to pause sending some military weapons to Ukraine, the EU must fill those gaps.
EU Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen said the bloc will deliver 2 million shells to Ukraine by the end of the year, using the windfall profits from immobilized Russian assets.
"We also invested 2.1 billion euros to strengthen Ukraine's defense right now, and important is the origin of this money. We're doing this by using the windfall profits from immobilized Russian assets," von der Leyen said.
"So, in practice, Russia is paying for the weapons Ukraine is using."

She surprised Zelensky with the announcement.

Reports are Trump and Zelensky had a call after Trump spoke with Putin.
Hopefully, Trump is getting the idea that Putin is dissing him, big time.
Zelensky Reveals Details of Key Trump Call: 'Very Important and Useful' Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he held a "very important and useful" call with U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday, July 4, amid escalating Russian attacks and a controversial pause in U.S. arms shipments to Ukraine. The call came just one day after Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a conversation Trump later described as "very disappointing." Zelensky used the call to thank Trump for U.S. support and to push for increased air defense cooperation. He said both leaders agreed to work on "strengthening protection of our skies" and to arrange meetings between their defense teams. The conversation also covered joint weapons production, drone technology, and mutual investments. www.newsweek.com

Every time Vlad talks to Don Worm on the phone, he right afterward sets another record bombing run on Ukraine... it happens every time.
Just so Donny remembers who is Boss.
And China is now complicit in the deaths in Ukraine; supplying war materials to Russia hoping to keep the US occupied there while they invade Taiwan. And other random neighboring countries.
They'll be demanding Hawaii, soon. And will prolly get it as it's just another blue state to Trumpers.

The more Trumpy talks to Vlad the Impaler the more Ukrainians die?
Trumpy should probably stop talking. But he won't. He knows he can kill or cause the deaths of) as many Ukrainians as he wants to.
And no one will stop him. And there will be no accountability after.
