Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Rep. James Comer (R-KY): "There are people who get huge subsidies for Obamacare and that's obviously very helpful for them, but who's paying for that? It's the small business owner, it's the people that are working, it's the people who have group health insurance plans. Their premiums are skyrocketing because of the gimmicks in Obamacare. It's just not fair to everyone. You got Democrat and socialist plans that create winners and losers. We gotta look at everybody. We care about the people that are gonna lose " ah, that could potentially lose healthcare. But there are people that can't afford healthcare. We've gotta get people off Medicaid and into the workforce and into private healthcare, but we can't because off of these subsidies in this fake healthcare economy that was created with Obamacare."

In the face of a major emergency-nobody, nobody, nobody can afford health care except for the ultra-rich.

GOP Congressman Wants Americans Off Medicaid and Working

Working what jobs?

In the Trump Economy, there's fewer job openings than job seekers.

And I can't imagine disabled Medicaid recipients are going to be anyone's first choice.

Either Gomer Comer doesn't know the difference between Medicaid and Medicare, or he's lying through his teeth.

Or, considering Comer ... both.

FTW, someone on Medicaid does NOT get coverage via the ACA. And the reason they're on Medicaid is because they have no assets.

Republicans want to add three days a week of transportation expenses to and from jobs, or to and from volunteer work ... for folks deemed too poor to afford medical premiums.

And all to justify borrowing trillions for tax giveaways.
