More: His comments, in an interview with The New York Times, marked the first time a Republican governor has questioned the interstate deployment of National Guard troops over a governor's objections. Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois and other Democratic elected officials have been strongly critical of the move and have implored Republican governors to join the opposition.

Mr. Stitt on Thursday said, "We believe in the federalist system " that's states' rights," adding, "Oklahomans would lose their mind if Pritzker in Illinois sent troops down to Oklahoma during the Biden administration."

Wow. Is this finally a crack in the Trump admin's hold on Republicans? Once a few start coming forward, more will join (I hope...).

He must not have gotten the memo that all their previous policies have been supplanted to cater to the dementia addled whims of a sundowning elderly golfer looking through the list of federal employees to suspend the one named Habeas Corpus.

Don't forget, Trump is fascist to his core, and that was said by his former Defense Sec. James Mattis, and his former Chief of Staff, Kelly. A fascist believes, not in a Constitutional Republic, not in democracy, but in one person rule, iron rule. Let us see if Trump lets a red state get away with rejecting his domination tactics.

(Oh look, he shaved off his beard.)

While Gov. Brownshoes is correct, he underplays what would have actually happened, which is that Okies from all over the state would have drawn arms even if the Illinois contingent were there to help with disaster recovery after a tornado. Okiehomie was founded by a mob of Confederate marauders, highwaymen on the lam and cattle ranchers. They collectively do not take to northerners (speaking from experience), especially those in matching outfits, driving big trucks and wearing holstered sidearms ...

He's catching on. Civil war is Trump's goal. Go back and look at how his face lights up when he was talking to Zelensky and it is mentioned that Ukraine has put off elections due to war.
Trump wants war and he doesn't care if it is the US vs some other country or an internal conflict.
