I tried posting a new thread, but the posting seems to have been denied. First time for me. What's going on?

OK, this thread does not appear either.

So, for some reason I seem to have been banned.

With no prior notice of the reason for the banning.

Oh well ...

I guess I am being told to move on, away from this site ...

Back in the day there was a 3 thread maximum per day limit.

You might be experiencing that.

If someone is suspended or banned, their user status is either "exile" or "visitor" on their user page. You're not suspended. The explanation is likely that when you made the blog post you did not choose the option to promote it to the back page.

Yeah.

I fully admit that this was my self-induced issue.

I was not aware of the "yes or no" selection that RCade referred to in #5.

And, at the time I posted those comments I had been "tabbing" around the posting page. And at some point, I, it seems, twiddled that selection to not post the comment on the public blog.

So, yeah, I erred.
