#1 Some of it seemed Presicent to me.

Garbage? That's a little extreme.

There Does seem to be a big Everything Bubble.

It's not like this sort of thing Never Happened before.

I watched the first ten minutes or so.

Did you?

The main point is that Extreme Concentration of Wealth, combined with high Debt and Leveraged Assets is inherently Dangerous long term.

We are in every single one of the main categories of financial risk.

If the Rich stop Spending... Horde their Money?

Demand in the larger Economy Craters.

Oligarchs are the underpinning of the System.

Their Purchases, large and small, drive the Economy.

7 companies drive almost all the gains on the Fortune 500.

CONCENTRATION.

that's the Problem.

Your mom should have concentrated when she slapped that condom on whichever one of the basketball team is your dad

I give it till 2032 when SS runs out of money. By then America will be totally bankrupt and future will look like a William Gibson novel. Robots will do all the work, and society will resemble feudal Europe with peasants versus our robot owning masters.

And you will be jacked up and plugged in, with vat grown muscles and wired reflexes if you can find a good Chinese cybernetics doctor.

The fourth industrial revolution will create a dystopia. And what's neat is we will have the fourth turning here in America at the same time.

Why do you need to? You can just see the writing on the wall.

I give it till 2032 when SS runs out of money.

Runs out? There's no "reserve".
The interest on the debt will eat up more and more of the budget. The standard of living in the US is on the way down, this is why everyone is complaining about inflation, but its just going to get worse.

There's lots of angst on Wall Street of late.

Will AI prove to be worth the investment that is being put into it, seems to be the largest on, from what I see.

Companies seem to be dumping billions (yeah, billions) of dollars into capital expenditure to bolster their AI capabillities.

But, so far, those expenditures are not showing any results on the bottom line for those companies.

For example ...

Billion-dollar salaries, massive investment -- is Mark Zuckerberg's out-of-control AI spending rattling investors?
economictimes.indiatimes.com

... Meta AI Mark Zuckerberg spending 2025: Meta's ambitious AI spending, projected between $70-72 billion this year, is raising investor alarms. Despite strong revenue, Meta's stock dipped as analysts question the return on investment and transparency.

This surge occurs amidst an AI race, fueling fears of a market bubble, even as Zuckerberg stresses the urgency of these significant AI investments. ...

@#6

So ...

A brilliant investment for and in the future?

Or just hopping upon the current tech wet dream?

I give it till 2032 when SS runs out of money.

SS can only run out of money if everyone was to suddenly stop paying into it.

Even if Congress does nothing SS payments will be reduced. Not suddenly ended.

I've been selling stocks to accumulate cash in anticipation of the AI bubble pop. Then, I'll go shopping for stocks, particularly tech stocks that survive.

I might be early, but I don't care. I'm thinking 2026, but bubbles can go on for a long time. But they pop very fast.

AI will change the world and how business is done. So did the internet. AI is causing a huge bubble. So did the internet.

It won't be the end of America. This country has seen worse and persevered. I see an opportunity to benefit when greed turns to fear.
