More from the article ...

..."When will I get credit for having created, with No Inflation, perhaps the Greatest Economy in the History of our Country?" he wrote on TRUTH Social. "When will people understand what is happening? When will Polls reflect the Greatness of America at this point in time, and how bad it was just one year ago?"

According to a new AP-NORC poll, Trump's approval rating for the economy has massively decreased since March.

Only 31% of adults in the U.S. approve of how the president is handling the economy, according to The Associated Press.

Trump said the tariffs will bring in hundreds of billions of dollars and that the U.S. is respected on the national stage.

He took a shot at Biden and how the former president ran the country before he was elected.

"I inherited a MESS from the Biden Administration " The Worst Inflation in History, and the Highest Prices our Country has ever seen," he wrote.
"In other words, Affordability, just 13 months ago, was a DISASTER for the American People, but now, it's totally different! Prices are coming down FAST, Energy, Oil and Gasoline, are hitting five year lows, and the Stock Market today just hit an All Time High."

When Trump ran for office in 2024, his two top issues were the economy and cracking down on illegal immigration. ...

@#1

imo, Pres Trump is looking at the economy from the viewpoint of the billionaires that he has surrounded himself with in the White House.

The economy for the wealthy is doing quite well. Massive tax cuts, compliments of Pres Trump, investments doing well, etc.

But then, looking at those who work to put food on the table, well, things do not look so rosy.

It's a "K-shaped" economy. The wealthy are doing well, the non-wealthy, i.e., those who keep the Country running, are struggling to make ends meet.

But, as I noted earlier, Pres trump's billionaire-stacked Cabinet doesn't see the problem Americans are facing.

If it's bad, it's Biden's fault.
If it's good, it's Trump's fault.

But...Trump says it's his economy and great and America says it's bad...

So whose fault is it?

and the Stock Market today just hit an All Time High

Is that meaningful? When he crashed it with his first tariff announcement he said the stock market wasn't that important and he didn't care.

@#5 ... Is that meaningful? ...

It was posted by Pres Trump on social media.

Did I answer your question?

To the point of your comment ...

Pres Trump likes the stock market when it is rising, but dislikes it when it is dropping.

I'd say that is a typical response from a wealthy person with major investments in the stock market.

Not a worker who is just working to put food on the table.

So the question seems to become, why does Pres Trump seem to be so detached from his base and so focused upon how the wealthy are faring?
