... Trump made the comments early Tuesday to reporters at Palm Beach International Airport before boarding Air Force One to take him to Washington, D.C.

"I'll put a 200% tariff on his wines and champagnes, and he'll join," Trump said, referring to President Emmanuel Macron of France, who is reportedly not planning to accept his offer to join the U.S.-led Board of Peace.

The Board of Peace is a U.S.-led intergovernmental organization proposed by Trump in connection with his Gaza cease-fire plan, which was endorsed by the United Nations Security Council in a resolution related to its Gaza peace mandate. ...

Would one of you Trumpers inform him that YOU are paying for these Tariffs?

He either doesn't know or more likely doesn't care.

@#1 ... The Board of Peace is a U.S.-led intergovernmental organization proposed by Trump in connection with his Gaza cease-fire plan ...

More specifically, the Board of Peace is a Pres Trump-led organization in which every member nation has one vote, but the Chairman, Pres Trump, can override the vote if he does not agree with it.

C'mon righties. When is the corruption blatant enough for you to finally admit you've been had and you're no longer supporting this administration?

'Pay me $1 billion dollars I exclusively control to join my sham board I exclusively control or else I'll illegally levy tariffs on your exports...' and MAGA is like *meh*

Something tells me China is sitting back watching, smiling and very pleased with it's previous decoupling efforts.

My guess would be that other nations are also now looking to decouple from the US.

International agreements rely upon coherent and common strategies.

And not the whimsical day-by-day approach that Pres Trump seems to proffer.

As the CEO of Exxon pointed out, it's hard to invest in a place like Venezuela when one random tweet can change their foreign policy overnight.

... and also, when the money from the sale of that oil seems to go to bank accounts that cannot be held accountable by anyone in the US.

What could possibly go wrong with that, especially if Pres Trump is involved?

Venezuela has received $300 million in funds from oil sales, acting president says
www.reuters.com

... Trump said separately on Tuesday his country had taken the 50 million barrels out of Venezuela, and was selling some of it in the open market, though shipping records show that volume has not yet been exported.

Reuters reported last week that four Venezuelan banks had been notified by the country's government that they would split $300 million of oil revenues deposited in an account in Qatar, enabling them to sell dollars to Venezuelan companies that need foreign exchange to pay for materials.

"We should inform you that we have gotten funds, from the sale of oil, and we have gotten, of the first $500 million, $300 million," Rodriguez said at an event in Caracas.

"These first funds will be used through the exchange market in Venezuela, by national banks and the central bank, to consolidate and stabilize the market and protect the incomes and purchasing power of our workers."

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Rodriguez's brother, lawmaker Jorge Rodriguez, said a reform of the country's main oil law expected to be debated for the first time this week will be based on a partnership structure first introduced during President Nicolas Maduro's administration, though he provided no details. ...

He either doesn't know or more likely doesn't care.

He knows.

His goal is for the middle class to pay more taxes and raising income tax rates on the middle class in the big -------- bill would create a media firestorm so this is an underhanded way of doing so.

You can't expect the 1% to pay income taxes to fund government.

So the gaslighting had to be used to -------- his idiot supporters.

The dopes fall for it every single time.

Even with this the deficit this year will top $2 TRILLION...a $600 billion increase from last year.

I don't ever want to hear one ------- word about the national debt from any truptard ever again.

Now, let us play for a moment with the future...imagine that the Supreme Court actually steps away from their role of being corrupt supporters of the fascist in chief, and rule that his tariffs are illegal taxes imposed by the Executive Branch which does not, Constitutionally, have those powers. As I understand it, 96% of the tariffs were paid for by Americans, and if they have to be paid back to the countries and businesses and individuals...going to be mass confusion.
Trump loves confusion, so I imagine he will try some move to declare Martial Law to give him the power to ignore the Constitution.
Are we really that far gone down the rabbit hole?

This is sure a lot of trouble to go through to hide Trumpanzee's penchant for "degradation sex" with underage girls.
