As part of their training, the original report in Government Executive says, some callers may express suicidal ideation, and they give examples using a theoretical employee named Fiona. "It's important for Fiona to keep the caller engaged and to remind her that suicide is only one option," the trainer tells the workers in a video. The Government Executive has a copy of the video, it says. Workers receiving the training were shocked and asked for clarification.

Where's our Christian Calvary to denounce suicide as being against the teachings of the Bible?

Also, what other country is suggesting their citizens commit suicide so the wealthy can remain rich?

- suicide as being against the teachings of the Bible?

There's no direct instruction against suicide in scripture; it's not said to be in itself some kind of sin... however, the whole idea is living a good life and loving others as you love yourself.

I looked into this 20 years ago when I got a call from a Houston Police Detective to tell me that my that my younger brother had pulled his van over to the side of road on the Gulf Coast, plugged a hose into the exhaust, and ran it into the running van.

Then he got in the back and went to sleep.

As I posted elsewhere, the tiny global elite are vastly outnumbered by the masses who are using up their precious resources.

By numbers, the masses can and should overthrow our sinister overlords.

Think of the world as one large apartheid-era Suid-Afrika. The tiny privileged Boers are greatly outnumbered.

So in a Malthusian manner, these elitists are culling the herd, hence eliminating vaccines, dismantling USAID, withdrawing from WHO, loosening gun restrictions, and promoting suicide.

Oligarch Vladimir Putin sends one thousand of his own citizens to death every day in suicidal meat attacks against the Ukrainians.

This suicide promotion for the great unwashed masses is found in the Sci-Fi novel "Make Room! Make Room!" which was later made into the classic film "Soylent Green."

On Tuesday 5 Nov 2024, another day that will live in infamy, 76,535,898 idiots voted to usher in this dystopic nightmare upon us all.

In China they literally threw the baby out with the bath water.

If it was a girl.

China's One-Child Policy (1979"2015) profoundly impacted infants, resulting in a severe gender imbalance due to a high preference for sons. It caused millions of "missing" girls through sex-selective abortion, abandonment, and neglect.

Surviving children often grew up as "little emperors" with high parental investment but increased risk-aversion and lower competitiveness.

Are you one of those "little emperors" born between 1975-2015? That could explain a lot.

Corky,

I believe the issue isn't whether or not suicide is specifically mentioned in the Bible.

The bigger question is, will it separate someone from God.

Would God turn away from someone He had already saved, if they took their own life.

Corky,

Not being mentioned, doesn't answer that question.

You can't assume an answer just because it's not addressed.

Corky,

Sometimes you have to extrapolate the meaning of scripture.

How do you interpret these words?

Some see it as clear cut. Others dissect every word.

You don't have to be a Biblical scholar or write books.

What does your heart tell you? Would Jesus let you go?

John 10:27-28 (red letter words)

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Corky,

What did Jesus mean by "My sheep"?

He tells you right there. They hear His voice, He knows them, and they follow Him.

He gives them eternal life...and they will never perish.

Watching you talk yourself into a circle is... not as entertaining as it might be.

The traitor you voted for and support made suicide more likely for more people than it would have been had he not let Musk do DOGE for $100's of millions in bribes, er, donations.

And considering the 100's of thousands of children that he murdered via starvation and lack of medicine, also to give tax cuts to himself and his friends... I think you should be hiding in a closet somewhere praying as hard as you can rather than pontificating on scripture.

#15 | Posted by Corky at 2026-02-19 04:09 PM | Reply

Corky,

In my opinion, some religious leaders make Jesus' words more complicated than they are.

Why?

Because when things get complicated, people start depending on them, instead of praying and trusting Christ.

Jesus pointed the other direction. We are called to have a trusting faith like a child, grounded in Christ alone.

It's simple to be saved. Not a lot of criteria, but one of the hardest things to do... letting go and believing.

Matthew 18:3 (red letter words)

Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Read #15 and try to understand how your support of a murdering traitor is in no way Christian... no one cares what a hypocrite 'thinks'.

Corky,

"The traitor you voted for and support made suicide more likely for more people than it would have been."

Think about the alternatives due to having tighter borders.

Do you think fewer people will end up paying cartels for travel?

Do you think fewer children will end up vulnerable to sex trafficking?

Over time, won't thousands be spared from those risks?

That matters.

Trump lied to you about immigrant crime, and you chose to believe it.

I just told you the truth about Trump's murdering 100's of thousands of children to give himself and his friends tax cuts.... and you couldn't care less.

Christian is as Christian does, not as he talks.

Remember what Yeshua said about Judas... 'it would be better for than man had he never been born."

"Do you think fewer children will end up vulnerable to sex trafficking?"

No. I think children every child in ICE detention is at risk of sexual abuse or being trafficked.
We're literally trafficking children, just not sexually, when we deport them.
This administration isn't prosecuting the child sex traffickers named in the Epstein Files.

Key Elements of Human Trafficking
Acts: Recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person.
Means: Use of force, fraud, or coercion to control the victim.
Purpose: Exploitation for labor, services, or commercial sex.

Acts: Ongoing detention of migrant children, many of whom are here legally.
Means: ICE use of force.
Purpose: Exploitation of vulnerable children to generate revenue for the private prison industry and other Trump donors.
