China has a trade agreement with Pres Trump. They believed him when he agreed to that.

The issue here seems to be that China may want to discuss other things beside trade at the summit.

But all Pres Trump seems to care about are trade deals.

So, Pres Trump seems to want to be going into the summit with no preparation, and just ~winging it.~
