How many freaking years did Trump excoriate other people for low GDP growth?

Once again, I have to say that there is no single, solitary bad thing that Trump was predicted to do that he has not done.

And the climax of this tragicomedy is still in the future.

Obviously the head of the Commerce department needs to spend more time with his family.

Stagflation is upon us.

Every bit of it thanks to Trump's tariffs and war.

OK, some of the stats presented this morning were for January, i.e., before Pres Trump's unprovoked war with Iran had begun.

So, be careful when you look at the numbers. Be aware of the time frame the numbers represent.

Hard to imagine how the economy could improve because of this war. Gas prices = inflation = people spending less = lower GDP.

@#7 ... Hard to imagine how the economy could improve because of this war. ...

I do not disagree.

I only wanted to note that some of the numbers were for January.

More to that point, when we see those numbers next month, they will reflect February.

But Pres Trump started his unprovoked war, excuse me ... little excursion, with Iran on February 28.

So how much of those coming February numbers might be reflective of what has been happening since February 28?

when we see those numbers next month, they will reflect February.

IF you see them. They may be withheld for reasons of national security.

"Fourth Quarter GDP Just 0.7% Growth, Jan. Core Inflation Was 3.1%"

This is exactly the kind of Fake Economic News that doesn't truly reflect so-called "poor" people are still buying new cars.

And even Specialty Coffee!

Not much. We'll see if the December-January downward trajectory continued.

Excluding jobs in healthcare - which are also going down now - the number of net jobs the past 9 months equals less than Joe Biden's last full month.

Righties never stop blathering about how superior they are on the economy...

And here we have their boy absolutely tanking it like it's a casino in Atlantic City and they're simply silent on the topic. Nevermind the massive debt he's wracking up because this administration is little more than a bonanza for the connected to cash out from the US treasury.

And what does that idiot MSGT blather on about? Smug satisfaction that he's retired from the greatest jobs program in the world while others are getting f*&^ed after working hard and learning a useful skill.
