More from the article ...

... During a roundtable on crime prevention in Memphis, the president recounted how he made the decision to launch the strikes on Iran late last month.

"I said, let's talk.' We got a problem in the Middle East. We have a country known as Iran that , for 47 years, been just a purveyor of terror, and they're very close to a nuclear weapon," Trump said.

The president then explained what he viewed were the options.

"We can keep going and get that 50,000 up to 55 and 60, there's no end," Trump said, referring to the military's goal to recruit 60,000 soldiers, "or we can take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East and eliminate a big problem."

"And I think, Pete, you were the first one to speak up," Trump said. "And you said, let's do it.' Because you cannot let them have a nuclear weapon." ...

How's that little journey coming along.
Are we there yet?

Trump should have a sign on his desk that says "The buck stops over there" surrounded by arrows that point every direction except at him.

IT'S NOT "DEFENSE SECRETARY"

IT'S SECRETARY OF BAR!

That's how you know things are going well. Trump is well-known as a humble man always willing to share the limelight.

In spite of Trump's notorious habit of scapegoating which we already know is his first resort, my biggest question is . . . when will the lily-livered Senate Republicans start smelling Trump's blood in the water?

Fight fight fight...it's all a big bag of rats.

------- knows he ------ up good.

There is no way out.

Iran has the US by the nuts.

We could've invested in wind, solar, hydro, geothermal etc, but noooooooo... lets keep relying on the black goo from the craziest ass section of the world.

"for 47 years, been just a purveyor of terror"

The US has been purveying terror longer than that.

"Maximum lethality" could be the new operating slogan for the Iranian military. If American boots land on Iranian soil, every Iranian kook with a gun will be after our troops, seeking scalps which will be redeemable for food, shelter and open internet at home...

CATDOG

You bring up another question:

WHY AMERICAN TROOTS? This is Israel's war. Why not Israeli boots on the ground?

Operation Epstein Fury might be a failure?

Or is Hegseth just the latest in a long line of Epstein victims?

Trump is a sucker for an ego trip. Netanyahu just led him down the primrose path.

And here we thought Dodo birds were extinct.

Apparently not. We still have Trump and Nutty-ho-h0.

Ultimately, Hegseth will be his own victim. He's weak and petty man with less self-esteem than a pimpled out 14 y/o with BO. This is his biggest problem, and then it's his incompetence.

I think Trump hires these people because they're all tainted, and so easy throw them under the bus. Like Kristi. They're like cards up his sleeve ready to throw down whenever he fails.

But, his weak and tainted cabinet are full of people who are easily manipulated and don't have much for morals.

They'll do what he wants, until he's done with them, and then he discards.

Trump hires the needy because they practically beg to become complicit.
They are easily found, used, and replaced.
MAGA derives its strength from gathering together a mob of weak people in search of a tribe and chief.

Never fear. As soon as a Republican develops a conscience, some Fetterman will come along to negate their vote.

We'll know Trump's feeling it for real when he starts throwing his present wife and any of his children under the bus.

The current high-level grifting and warmaking is providing plenty of cover for Uday, Qusay, and the Kushners to be conducting raids of their own. And Melanoma on behalf of her and the 6-7 POS.
