I'm finally leaving Ulaanbaatar and it's time to go straight south to the Gobi desert! The last, vast, desolate desert on this journey to Japan, I am beyond stoked!

The large lovable dog at the Yurt stay at the end is a Mongolian Bankhar...

(and unlike many large dogs, they can live 15 t0 18 years)
