"For the first time ever, a presidential administration now claims that species protected by the Endangered Species Act shouldn't be safe from habitat modification that destroys where they live, raise their young, or search for food," Earthjustice attorney Kristen Boyles said in a statement.

The legislation has helped safeguard more than 1,700 species and their habitats, preventing 99% of those listed from going extinct, most famously the bald eagle. Well, one has to admit that these are times of great clarity, enemies of the earth and of its lifeforms are not hiding from that fact. Trump and his goons are about power for themselves, and even though it may mean the destruction of our healthy land and water and the ending of entire species...in their greed they are enemies of it all, us all.
