My budget is still recovering from the $1400 alternator that went south this past March, so I'd be pinching the hell out of Ol' Abe if we still used pennies. These days, if I don't desperately need it, I don't buy it.

That's because Joe Biden's energy credits were expiring, and a lot of folks took advantage.

I had two clients get 5-figure refunds by buying large generators, and a good friend got the last of the 10K EV Rebates.

But that's all gone. I guarantee you next year's refunds will be less.
