Wired is reporting the that Elon Musk is expected to sink more than $100 million into Texas midterms.

ICYMI: The precise amount could change, but the officials expect Musk to spend around $100 million to $200 million with a focus on voter turnout in key races, including Texas, where the fate of Republican nominee Ken Paxton could determine which party controls the US Senate.

Just did a quick Google for some research and - wow. Elon Musk owns 500 properties encompassing over 6,000 acres in Texas. Ties with around 90 companies. And there's Tesla Giga, Starbase and Terafab of course.

Surely a coincidence! Gotta spend money to make money/government contracts and incentives.
