An Army unit based in Europe that was specializing in drone warfare has been directed to end its efforts to learn and use the battlefield technology and return to being a traditional infantry battalion, officials said Thursday.

Does this make sense to anyone?

Only if it's part of the continuing Trump pattern of behavior designed to leave our defenses wide open to attack.

It is reasonable to assume, based on his behavior (cyber defenses, anyone?), that Trump wants the US to be attacked. Convenient for that National Emergency, which will begin his full dictatorship.

I guess no one in Drinky Pete's office is watching that Russia-Ukraine war thingy, you know, the one where drone warfare has supplanted tanks, artillery and attack helicopters. Maybe Hegseth wife, that senior Pentagon advisor on dress code, meal prep and Asian strategy, could offer an opinion on this topic ...
