He might have banned CNN from the White House, but President Donald Trump doesn't seem to mind all of the outlet's reporting.
In fact, Trump was so stoked about a recent segment from CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten, where he talked about the president being historically popular among Republicans, that he opted to play a clip of it during his Saturday rally in Clarksville, Tennessee.
"Of all groups, from CNN, can you believe that?" Trump marveled before his rally team played the video on the giant screen behind him.
The crowd then heard Enten talking about how Trump's support among MAGA Republicans has barely dipped, from 99% to 98%, since 2024. And Enten said that's a great sign for the GOP heading into the midterms, because all of those MAGA supporters said they plan on backing Republican candidates.
"That support is really holding up strong," Enten said. "It's really, really strong."
He then pointed to a poll showing Trump laps the field when it comes to presidents that Republicans "most admire." Trump received 53% of the votes, which nearly tripled the 18% Ronald Reagan received and "easily" trounced the 8% who picked Abraham Lincoln.
The crowd cheered as Enten rattled off the pro-Trump stats, while the president took breaks from watching the video over his shoulder to scan and smile at the crowd.
