It's an easy mistake when Trump's brain hasn't been banging on all eight cylinders for a long time.
I'm beginning to wonder if Trump's grueling schedule of campaign rallies last month was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Well that, his age and whatever drugs he's to keep him on his feet.

Something has to give if it hasn't already.

Truth be told, we Americans were fantastically fortunate to have a Black Man, MLK Jr., to lead a peaceful civil disobedience change in America. We could have been Israel, with apartheid being the lot of those in the South who had Black Skin. As someone nearly the same age as Trump, even though I am a lifelong Democrat, I cringe when I watch Trump these days. Yes, it is simply too difficult for some people, some organizations to take the keys away... But amidst the Trump blather is a truth, that maybe 30% of his base is wildly racist, and the coded language Trump uses day in and day out are to get hate out to the ballot box. Many of us were surprised in the last election when they turned out to be the majority of voters...America, in some ways, hasn't changed from its founding when slavery was a way of life, women were second class citizens, and hate and violence were perfectly fine to steal land and kill those living on that land.

Are you saying that no (or few) lessons have been learned since the horse & buggy days?
I agree that a certain mind-set of people couldn't be moved with a stick of dynamite. The lazy and uneducated for example who just let life pass them by. But with every generation we have younger and better educated voters who are experiencing firsthand the pain of voting for the wrong people ~ (such as Trump in 2024) that affects not only their life but the life of their children and grandchildren. I hear the same story over and over again: "I'm worried about what's going to happen to my grandchildren."
And well they should be. We're all worried.

Republicans don't think it's racist to tell non-white Americans to "go back where they came from."

You could have stopped after the first three words.
If they did we wouldn't be stuck in that Iranian boondoggle right now.

European colonizers always believe they have the right to tell others where and how they should live.
They're so delusional they don't realize they're a bunch of immigrants themselves.

Hitler called his white nation Aryans.
In the U.S. we call them White Nationalists.
Hitler/Trump. No difference.
Hitler called his deployment group the SS.
Trump calls his deployment group ICE.

There's a difference, in scope, and otherwise.
The Nazis hid their crimes. Trump is right out in the open.

Trump is hiding plenty.
Who are the people held in ICE concentration camps? We don't know their names. Where are the faces of ICE agents? They're hidden behind masks. What are the names of ICE agents? Those public employee names are kept secret. What was in the search warrant for the raid on Ilhan Omar's residence? That is kept under seal.
Where are the Epstein Files? Three million pages are still kept secret.

Given a leg up on Tuesday, Democrats will answer all those questions and more.
Be patient.

Also, the Nazis came up with the mass coverup idea after the fact.
"During the early phases of Operation Reinhard, bodies were simply thrown into mass graves and covered with lime. From 1943, to hide the evidence of the crime, the victims' remains were burned in open air pits. Special Leichenkommando (corpse units) had to exhume bodies from the mass graves around these death camps for incineration." en.wikipedia.org
See Also: Sonderaktion 1005, "a top-secret Nazi operation conducted from June 1942 to late 1944. The goal of the project was to hide or destroy any evidence of the mass murder that had taken place under Operation Reinhard" en.wikipedia.org

Yes. Don't boo. Vote!
We can't even begin to answer all those questions and solve those problems and repair the damage done and hold these criminally negligent incompetents accountable unless we win the House and preferably the Senate, too.
As for me.. I've already voted three times!

DONNER
I think I may have voted twice. I helped an old lady on her deathbed copy my mail in ballot because she couldn't see the fine print very well and she trusted me. She died 10 days later in a coma.
Did I do wrong?
