""I am going to keep mentioning that I find it more than curious"
If you can't say it, Tony, I will. I'm used to the abuse. When it comes to foreign policy regarding any land between Morocco and India, Israel and its fundamentalist Christian and Zionist supporters have a near monopoly on the megaphone currently in the hands of the vast majority of American mass media outlets and legislating politicians.
This is readily apparent when one views, from an objective, non-partisan viewpoint, the unique intersection of interests between the Democrat and Republican parties, currently engaged in a cold Civil War.
In effect, IRAN thwarted its own attack, and for a very coherent and logical reason, and if no one other than Al Jazeera wants to explore that reasoning, then I am afraid we are not better than the denizens of those authoritarian countries around the world who resignedly accept their leadership's explanations for everything that occurs outside of their country/state/county/neighborhood/living room.
Will they bring their pigs with them? Generally speaking, the more pigs, the more conservatives. I don't mean just the obvious red states like Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, North Crackolina and South Dakota-- but the red areas within blue states such as Minnesota or Illinois.
You also have to look at the unacceptable number of wild boars running rampant in the southern states east of the Rockies-- something about feral swine rolling around in their own filth and the modern-day Trump Republican just seem to go hand in hand.
