Emails hacked from the inbox of former Israeli PM Ehud Barak reveal discussions with notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including exchanges about a trip to the pedophile's private island. The emails were acquired last year by Handala, a hacking group with suspected ties to Iranian intelligence agencies. Link: Ehud Barak's 100,000 Emails. Many of the emails detail Epstein's partnership with Barak in 2015, when the pair began investing in a security startup known as Reporty Homeland Security. Epstein used Barak "to seek out opportunities in the surveillance industry and build connections with powerful figures around the globe." Those influential figures included Palantir founder Peter Thiel, along with the former director of Israeli signals intelligence and two individuals described as being in Russian President Vladimir Putin's inner circle. The Buga Orb, also referred to as the Buga Sphere, is a metallic, spherical object discovered in Buga, Colombia, in March 2025, which has sparked widespread speculation and debate. Eyewitnesses reported seeing it move erratically through the sky before it landed in a field, exhibiting behavior unlike conventional aircraft. Described as seamless, roughly the size of a basketball or bowling ball, and weighing around 4.5 pounds initially, the orb is made of a high-grade metal alloy, possibly containing aluminum, copper, iron, zinc, and manganese. Its surface reportedly features enigmatic symbols resembling ancient scripts like runes, Ogham, or cuneiform, though their exact meaning remains unclear, with some interpretations suggesting themes of unity or environmental warnings. Conservative orthodoxy once held that the free market was the key to America's economic success. In this view, Milton Friedman was a laissez-faire prophet. The Soviet Union was the sclerotic alternative. Ronald Reagan captured Republican sentiment when he said, "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government, and I'm here to help." That's not how President Trump - or his party - feels. The president wields tariffs to boost American companies. Populist Republicans in Congress back government subsidies to juice manufacturing. The United States is taking a 10 percent stake in Intel and a 15 percent cut of sales by Nvidia, both chipmakers. And Trump wants to replace the people who run the independent Federal Reserve with more compliant appointees. Protectionism, industrial policy and government ownership - all once conservative boogeymen - are now official doctrine.
President Donald Trump's massive tax and spending law " whose official name is the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA)" " continues to remain deeply unpopular among a majority of Americans. Now, Trump is aiming to rechristen it ahead of next year's midterm elections. NBC News reported Tuesday that the president acknowledged during a recent Cabinet meeting that the law was in need of a rebrand as Republicans struggle to sell it back in their home states and congressional districts. Trump said he wants the new name to emphasize tax cuts for working people (even though the vast bulk of the tax cuts overwhelmingly benefit the richest Americans).
As leading grocery chains increase prices on essentials, they are blaming President Donald Trump's tariffs for raising the cost of living for households across the country.

Dummkopf Trumpf launched into a bizarre, stream-of-consciousness monologue to open a televised Cabinet meeting at the White House that went for 3 hours and 16 minutes. The Dotard veered into an awkward "bit" as he said looks were not important in politics, and suggested that if he praised USAG Pam Bondi's physical attributes, his career would be over. "I look at Pam. I would never say she's beautiful, because that's gonna be the end of my political career," he bleated. After the awkward compliment, Trumpf lurched from subject to subject without interruption as members of the junta listened and occasionally laughed at his insipid remarks. Trumpf mixed up the drug companies Eli Lilly and Johnson & Johnson, while claiming he was cutting prescription drug prices for Americans by 1,500 percent. The octogenarian rambled about transgender athletes and tthe age of AIPAC-funded Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), saying he looked like he was 100 years old. Read more
