Empty Suit Andrew Cuomo, who betrayed the Democratic Party by running as an independent AIPAC shill against front-runner Democratic Party candidate Zohran Mamdani (33), continues pandering to NYC Jews in an attempt to disrupt the commanding lead he holds over him in the race for NYC Mayor. The disgraced ex-governor of NYS was ousted from office for sexually harassing women and fabricating casualty numbers during the COVID epidemic. Cuomo was also forced to return his cherished Emmy Award. When this mercenary was asked whether Israel was committing genocide in Gaza, something academic experts and the UN all agree is taking place, Cuomo demurred without answering. But hypocritically this Judas Iscariot demanded that Zohran Mamdani condemn "globalizing the Intifada" (whatever that means). All polls show the likeable Zohran Mamdani holding a commanding lead over the decrepit Kennedy clan outcast who betrayed the Democratic Party for a mere 30 pieces of silver. Read more
The Supreme Court declined Monday to hear an appeal from the former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein, brushing aside an argument from Ghislaine Maxwell that she should have been shielded from prosecution under a plea agreement that Epstein struck with federal authorities. Read more
Stephen Miller's cousin, Alisa Kasmer, has publicly disowned him in a resurfaced emotional Facebook post in which she condemned his role as the architect of the Trump administration's hardline immigration policies. Kasmer, Miller's cousin on his father's side, recalled their childhood together, describing him as an "awkward, funny, needy middle child who loved to chase attention" but was "always the sweetest with the littlest family members." She once saw him as "young, conservative, maybe misguided, but lovable and harmless." But in her scathing post, Kasmer wrote, "I am living with the deep pain of watching someone I once loved become the face of evil. I grieve what you've become, Stephen ... I will never knowingly let evil into my life, no matter whose blood it carries"including my own." Read more

Harvard University researchers and Physicians for Human Rights report that ICE is placing record numbers of people into solitary confinement, sometimes for weeks at a time. Prisoners in solitary confinement have suffered for 15 days or longer, which the UN condemns as psychological torture. The US Constitution prohibits certain types of punishment: excessive bail, excessive fines, and cruel and unusual punishments. "We are torturing people simply because they want a better life in the US," laments Sam Zarifi, executive director of Physicians for Human Rights. Pope Leo's recent rebuke regarding the 'inhuman treatment of immigrants' in the US offended conservatives and MAGA supporters, as the Pontiff correctly exposed the hypocrisy of so-called pro-life' Christian Republicans who applaud capital punishment, the inhuman treatment of their fellow man, and Israeli's barbaric ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The real problem is that the Affordable Care Act was never actually affordable. President Barack Obama's signature achievement allowed people to buy insurance on marketplaces with subsidies based on their income. The architects of the program assumed that risk pools would be bigger than they turned out to be. As a result, policies cost more than expected. Read more
The family of a college student killed in a Cybertruck car crash has sued Tesla, claiming the design of the vehicle's doors were a "death trap." Krysta Tsukahara (19) and two others were killed when the driver of the vehicle rammed into a tree in Piedmont, CA in Nov 2024. Ms. Tsukahara, a college student, was riding in the backseat and became trapped inside the Tesla Cybertruck as it burst into flames. She was unable to find the manual door releases when the vehicle's battery caught fire. The doors are electronically powered, but when there's no power, riders must use the manual door releases, according to the vehicle's owner manual. To do this from the rear seat, the passenger must remove the rubber mat on the bottom of the rear door's pocket, pull the mechanical release cable forward and then push the door open. Read more

US President Donald Trump has urged everyone involved in efforts to end the Gaza war to "move fast" as mediators are set to meet in Egypt on Monday for indirect peace talks between Hamas and Israel. While I may not be involved, I have a sneaking suspicion that John Prine, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Bill Murray would be quite happy to hang as a four-piece. Why? Well, the three latter names in that group all share one thing: a love for John Prine.

Federal agents shot a woman in the Brighton Park neighborhood on Chicago's Southwest Side Saturday morning after they became boxed in by vehicles, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. DHS originally said the shooting happened while agents were patrolling in Broadview, where the department has a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility that has been the site of ongoing protests and clashes between agents and demonstrators. But officials later confirmed the incident happened near 40th Street and Kedzie Avenue in Chicago. The patrolling agents were rammed by vehicles and "boxed in by 10 cars," according to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. DHS said the agents were unable to move their vehicles and got out of the car.
