With only 90 days left she has the honeymoon of a VP pick along with the convention. Very little time to give her any kind of real scrutiny. She is vapid and horrific off-the-cuff. So, it will be rallies where crowd size will be driven by free rapper concerts. Maybe a couple of interviews with extremely friendly outlets (almost the entirety of our news media). I don't see her doing a press conference. I really don't. She won't get any pressure at all from MSM outlets to do so. They have given up caring about their credibility years ago and are mostly propaganda outlets for the Democrat Party. It will be a quasi-Biden-basement campaign and it will probably succeed. Barely.

Having said that, this recasting of Kamala as Obama 2.0 is absurd.

She has been repackaged to a ridiculous degree. She's had unnamed staffers reverse her positions on at least a half dozen serious issues over the past couple of weeks. ZERO pushback or seeking clarification, in her own words, as to why and how she reversed so many issues in such a short time.

She's horrific off-the-cuff and will thus be shielded from any and all interactions in such a manner. The wild-card is debates. Trump is pretty awful at debating but it's not hard to expos Harris (just like Biden), let her speak. Without any kind of a crutch.
