Mike Pence Opposes Pardons for Jan. 6 Insurrectionists

Former Vice President Mike Pence spoke at the Dispatch's Summit 2024 and made clear he opposes President-elect Donald Trump's plan to pardon January 6 rioters - especially those who attacked police. "At the end of the day, I'll always believe that, by God's grace, we did our duty [on January 6] to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America," Pence said according to Dispatch on social media.

Comments

Maybe Trump should Pardon Mike Pence for the crime of obeying the Constitution and refusing to participate in Trump's traitorous crimes.

Too little and much, much too late.

Put that in his epitaph and carve it on his tombstone.

At least it will sound better than spineless lizard.

Pence didn't commit any last minute act of heroisms. The only thing Pence did was protect himself from going to prison for Trump.

Carville thought Harris was going to win on the last interviews I saw of him before the election, so, no, folks are probably not going to listen to him now.

After their pardons they will go visit Mike Pence and finish what they started on Jan 6. They'll just get another pardon after all.

The dictionary says that they are insurrectionists. Words do have meaning you know.

Yawn. "Seditious conspiracists" is just too many syllables.

People are saying the famous insurrectionist that had his feet on Pelosi's desk will be pardoned and made Chief of the Capitol Police.

BS.... Carville told democrats several years ago they'd never get re=elected running on the "stupid" woke agenda. Just because he stayed positive for the 2 minute offense doesn't mean he agreed with anything the democrats did.

If you won't listen to James Carville, Who will Democrats listen to? And what will they do different?

It's funny how you ------------, cop-killing degenerates ignore the MAGA filth found guilty of seditious conspiracy.

Still, soon, there will most likely be four hundred or so pardoned brownshirts marching in step as they salute their god...violence. I would imagine we will see and hear t and his gang free them to be as violent as possible, by mocking Paul Pelosi and others.

Well, then Pence should consider himself lucky that he won't have to make that decision. Democracy is messy.
