Russia: 'tangible' Response If Missiles Used Against Them

Russia says the use of US long-range missiles by Ukraine will lead to "an appropriate and tangible" response. Such an attack inside Russian territory "would represent the direct involvement of the United States and its satellites in hostilities against Russia", a foreign ministry statement said.

They have used them already according to NPR this morning. Russia is weak.

An "appropriate and tangible response," like Russia pooting itself as it enters day 1,000 of its 3-day "Special" Military Operation.

Russia is all talk.

If they had anything they could hit us with they would have already used it on Ukraine.

Russia can still project power, although I doubt they will.

They arent strong enough to go against the U.S. Which is what this article is trying to scare people into thinking.

Russia will be just fine.

Especially once Trump regains the presidency.

@#4 ... Russia can still project power, ...

I agree.

In this instance, Pres Putin seems to be trying to say --- hey, pay attention to us. We still are a world power, we have nukes.

Now, the question becomes, will Pres Putin use those nukes in Ukraine?

One aspect depends upon which way the wind is blowing.

Literally.

If Pres Putin uses nukes in Ukraine (tactical or otherwise), where will the prevailing winds blow the radioactive fallout from that exercise? Ukraine is right on the border of Russia.

That's the physical aspect.

I'll leave it at that for this comment.

Can you say, Chernobyl?

I knew you could.

America's greatest strategic liability is Israel and Russia will continue to take advantage of that.

As long as the security of God's chosen supremacist rapists and child murderers is considered paramount in American geopolitical worldview Russia will remain able to project its power far beyond its current military capabilities.

Well, we're waiting.

C'mon Russia, do a nuke you -------. You can't get em up? Awwww.....

The current administration just needs to go in hiding and stop making any decisions regarding foreign and domestic policy. The American people spoke and said so much.

Has the demented orange chomo announced how many American military bases he's going to surrender to Putin?

Because that's exactly what Trumpy would do if the shoe was on the other foot?

Like when Trumpy dropped that poison pill of forcing a withdrawal from Afghanistan on the incoming administration even though the Taliban had not kept their end of the agreement?

GFY. If Biden had no morals like Trumpy he would muck it all up and drop poison pills all over for the incoming admin.

But Biden actually has ethics scruples and integrity and a sense of history so thankfully for America he won't do that.

Less than half did.

#13. Sure, starting WW3 and paying off all their lackys with 2 months left in office is ethical. So you GFY, you lost and in a big way. The last 4 years sucked and your party was rightfully kicked out. Go get some therapy if it would help.

Who won the WH, the senate and Congress? Are you questioning the results of the election? Are you a denier?

No I am not a denier. I'm just not a Dummkopf that says America has spoken like you.

We're not going anywhere, and you don't make up the majority of this nation. Better you learn that now.

I have my suspicions but unlike you we are not election deniers.

I am, however, definitely questioning the sanity of many many Americans.

Seems most Americans aren't worried as much about putin using nukes in Ukraine, but more so on US soil.

The worrisome part is in the headline at the top of the page.

'Such an attack inside Russian territory "would represent the direct involvement of the United States and its satellites in hostilities against Russia", a foreign ministry statement said.'
