Newsom invites Trump to California to tour devastation

Gov. Gavin Newsom penned a letter to President-elect Donald Trump on Friday, inviting him to California to see the devastation left by the fires in Los Angeles County firsthand. In the letter, Newsom recalled the time during Trump's last presidency, when he toured the devastation left by the Camp Fire. "California is again facing one of the most destructive fires in our history," Newsom wrote. "We are thankful that President Biden has swiftly approved our major disaster declaration" a strong indication of the partnership California needs and appreciates with any federal administration. However, the threat to lives and property remains acute." Newsom also called for joining together and thanking firefighters and first responders who are putting their lives on the line. "In the spirit of this great country, we must not politicize human tragedy or spread disinformation from the sidelines," the letter said.

No wonder. In September alone CA potential exposure was at $458 BILLION. The FAIR program only has $700 MILLION cash on hand to pay claims. There is no money.
