Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently ordered modifications to a room next to the Pentagon press briefing room to retrofit it with a makeup studio that can be used to prepare for television appearances, multiple sources told CBS News.

I got no quarrel with a man wanting to look his best. But when you're cutting billions from the VA and firing folks left and right in the name of "efficiency," maybe spending taxpayer dollars on a Pentagon beauty parlor ain't the best look.

WASHINGTON: In the latest embarrassment to rock the Trump administration, Pete Hegseth admitted on Friday that he accidentally texted Houthi rebels a detailed list of the makeup products he uses before appearing on television.

The embattled defense secretary said that he had mistakenly sent the Houthis a cosmetics order intended for Sephora.

A spokesman for the Houthis thanked Hegseth for continuing to share his personal information with them, adding that his NFL draft predictions helped them win thousands of dollars Thursday night on FanDuel.
