AT LEAST.

THAT'S SOME GREAT ECONOMIC RESPONSIBILITY THERE, REPUBLICANTS.

$134 million and they have no food and are sleeping on the floor.

My old Marine buddies would somehow find a way to gum up this idiotic mission internally and get away with it.

"Oh, the battery for the ADS overheated and exploded!"

"How in the world did all of us get food poisoning? Barf!"

"Who the ---- put sugar in the fuel tanks of the HUMMVs?"

To 'JM' and 'BF', Semper Fi from an Army guy.

I always see quotes like this, and I wonder what's the cost of them doing nothing?

What cost is being tabulated?

Meaning they get paid regardless, they get transported places all the time just to train.

So what is the differential. No way it's $134million.

Der Orangen Fuehrer has said today that protesters at his Bday Parade would be met with, 'big force'.

Note, he didn't say rioters, he said protesters.

Of course, a normal person wouldn't say that. But then, a normal person would do what was done on the 200th anniversary when the cost got too high... they cancelled it.

But it's his birthday, and he wants Vlad and Kim and Xi to know he's just as much a dick as they are.

... Cost $134 Million ...

All to give Pres Trump a photo-op.

What is Pres Trump trying to distract attention away from this time?

The issues with his tax bill in Congress?

How China has played him in trade negotiations?

???

What is Pres Trump trying to distract attention away from this time?

He's wanted this since he was at the Bastille Day event in Paris. He thought thousands of soldier saluting Macron was awesome and he wants a taste.

LAMP

It's not JUST for a photo-op or a distraction. It's more like a testing ground for when Trump generates an "emergency" in one or more blue states in order to derail the 2026 mid-term in those states indefinitely and thus secure his majority in the House.

Johnson nearly gave away the scam when he stated (ever so confidently) that the House would gain seats in 2026.

As for the legality of what he's doing in California right now, I seriously doubt the U.S. Supreme Court will come to the rescue. Trump is looking to set a precedent for his plans to stagecraft even more violent uprisings prior to the 2026 mid-terms during which time the House will be missing crucial Democrat Representatives.

So, if we take that $134 milliion and add it the the cost of Trump's Birthday Party we're talking about $200 million dollars worth of "waste, fraud and ause!" Where is DOGE?

#12 | Posted by danni at 2025-06-12 09:13 AM

In the coming week it will be reported that the $134MM spent did not include meals and drinking water, so the deployed Marines will be the local Vons and Safeway, taking donations and liberating boxes of Mac and Cheese...

I don't disagree but I think his desire to be honored like Royalty started to invade his brain when he took his whole family (Princes, Princesses ans his Queen) accross the ocean to visit the Queen of England. I have believed he is just so envious of Royalty that he wants to be considered America's Royalty! Sounds crazy, y? yes but he is obviously crazy so it's sort of to be expected,

#14 | Posted by danni at 2025-06-12 10:52 AM

The protests were basically over Sunday...until Trump sent in the National Guard and Marines.

#15 | Posted by Sycophant at 2025-06-12 11:18 AM

Awesome. Now show us the price tag for all of the other riots that they had to be called in for like BLM riots. I mean, if we are going to tally up costs for riots, let's really tally up costs.

Oh, wait, you wanted to ignore anything that doesn't meet your narrative. Sorry.

You just want to ignore the fact that the taxpayer just paid $134 million for what amounts to nothing but political theater.

And that's a drop in the bucket of the monies that Trumpy is wasting while claiming he is saving us money.

Trumpy is the biggest fraud in the history of fraud pretending to root out fraud and waste while stuffing his own pockets with billions of dollars.

That's a fair point.

I don't remember any active Marines at the BLM protests. Got a link?

I DO remembers right-wing agitators stirring trouble at those BLM protests. In retrospect, that was probably a precursor of what Trump is trying to do now.

They're saving a lot of money by not paying or feeding the troops. Sort of the way Trump has always done business.
