Stephen Miller Demanded ICE Target Home Depots

President Trump's dream of mass deportations has always suffered from logistical and practical obstacles that make the entire exercise part cruelty, part performance, and part salve of his fragile ego.

"Agents didn't need to develop target lists of immigrants suspected of being in the U.S. illegally, a longstanding practice, Miller said. Instead, he directed them to target Home Depot, where day laborers typically gather for hire, or 7-Eleven convenience stores.

Miller bet that he and a handful of agents could go out on the streets of Washington, D.C., and arrest 30 people right away."

"That kind of indiscriminate enforcement action has had the effect of sweeping up documented and undocumented, citizen and noncitizen, workers and criminals in a Kafkaesque crackdown that was sure to enflame tensions in immigrant and minority communities that were hardest hit."

This is basically true, when neighbors need a helping hand, they go to Home Depot, and A-Toolshed.

It was a term applied to some Americans, prof who blathered it was Ward Churchill, long a discredited inhabitant of Fringelandia.

As for Stephen Miller, I have no idea if he's as good at logistics as Adolph Eichmann proved to be. He certainly seems to share an affinity for fanatic dedication to truly nasty ideas and behaviors.

Typical of a Little Eichmann, claiming others are outside agitators.

So, Democrats are big mad that they won't be able to go pick up a truckload of slaves in the Home Depot parking lot anymore? The net impact will be rising wages for US citizens working in the trades and unskilled physical labor. How is this a bad thing if you actually care about the US?

US pork processing: preparations underway for mass deportations of illegal workers (Dec 27, 2024)
www.pigprogress.net

... The US meat processing sector relies on the use of illegal workers and is therefore scrambling for solutions in the face of President-Elect Trump's plans for mass deportation of illegal migrants. Trump has stated that he will begin, after his inauguration 20 January, with criminal illegals and then deport others.

According to Wired Magazine, "around 23% of workers in the meatpacking industry are undocumented." Comments from packers such as Christensen Farms (owner of two of the largest pork processing plants in the US, Seaboard Foods in Oklahoma and Triumph Foods in Missouri), JBS and Tyson have been scarce on this issue. ...

He should also target the meat processing plants in the Mid-West.

Inevitably he will have to if he wants to meet his quotas. Or downgrade the quotas.

The seed idea was simply the notion that one could make a deliberate moral choice to do evil rather than good..."

[Verse]
In a jungle of the senses
Tinkerbell and Jack the Ripper
Love has no meaning, not where they come from
But we know pleasure is not that simple

Very little fruit is forbidden
Sometimes we wobble, sometimes we're strong
But you know evil is an exact science
Being carefully, correctly wrong

Donald Trump's Odds of Winning Nobel Prize Climb (May 15, 2025)
www.newsweek.com

... President Donald Trump has the best odds of winning this year's Nobel Peace Prize, according to new data released by a large oddsmaker.

Why It Matters

On March 5, the Nobel Peace Prize Committee announced that 338 candidates have been nominated for this year's Nobel Peace Prize, including 244 individuals and 94 organizations -- a drastic increase from the 286 nominees in 2024.

Four U.S. presidents have won the Nobel Peace Prize: Theodore Roosevelt (1906), Woodrow Wilson (1919), Jimmy Carter (2002) and Barack Obama (2009).

What To Know

Trump has been nominated multiple times for the prize over the years, including by U.S. and Ukrainian lawmakers as well as members of Norwegian and Finnish parliaments -- all previously crediting the first Trump administration's Abraham Accords treaty in September 2020 that normalized Middle East relations and was signed by Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. ...

Nobel Peace Prize?

Yassir Arafat

Al Gore + IPCC on 2007 whose advocacies resulted n food shortages which triggered global riots.

Barack Obama - a few months after coming into office and doing almost nothing. Just. Because.

Not as solid of the path of fmr Pres Obama. That path was majorly solid, imo.

But, Pres Trump's path, yeah, it looks to be there, but rather iffy at this point.

My guess is that Pres Trump's LA photo-op with the National Guard and the Marines may not be making his path to a Nobel any more solid.

I suggest a nationwide labor-pool database of vetted and legal day laborers and farm workers.
Anyone needing such help could simply select workers from the service. The workers would be listed by skills, and have reviews from past customers. I don't want uniform pricing, the employer can post offers and the individual workers can list their prices, which would allow for low-pay options and proven best-skill options.
This plan could be implemented either as a government program or a union.
Combine the rollout of this program with strict enforcement against employers who hire illegals.

I would use such a program right now. I need two for framing and shingle repair, two days, 20.00/hour.
I need one for grounds work, 8 hours/week at 15.00/hour.

I don't see laborers hanging out at my local Home Depot stores. Pretty disingenuous of you to say it's the Democrats that are looking for "slaves" anyway.

And I find it interesting that MAGA is targeting Home Depot, since Bernie Marcus, the late cofounder and former chairman of HD, was well known as a big Trump supporter and GOP mega-donor. Marcus died recently but HD's PAC still makes big contributions to Republicans, far more than it does to Democrats.
