Engine was still on the pylon at rotation. Looked like a compressor failure (small exhaust explosion #2), perhaps debris caused,

Looking at the TO video, the engine was on fire before V1 (smoke down runway). I wonder what the instruments were saying, perhaps ignored?

Anyhow, the UPS plane had just come out of a month-long maintenance. Right after maintenance is a very vulnerable time to fly a plane.

Why are we having so many plane crashes all of a sudden?

Because the media is reporting it to make you feel like its Trumps fault.

#22 there was smoke on the runway from engine before rotation, not sure how far the smoke went. But in the video from the taxiway smoke is seen on runway from the start.

In fact I would say the reason it was filmed is because crew on the taxi way saw the engine was in flames or smoking.

So it was ablaze before V1.

Yeah thats all we're doing, but it gives us something to think about when we pilot. I always read NTSB reports for GA. Try to keep learning, it can be somewhat depressing, but we can't talk about that.
