How to Afford a Nutritious Meal in MAGA America

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins suggests Americans could save money by eating a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a corn tortilla and "one other thing" to afford a nutritious dinner.

More

Brooke Rollins: "We've run over 1,000 simulations. It can cost around $3 a meal for a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, corn tortilla, and one other thing. So there is a way to do this that actually will save the average American consumer money."[image or embed]

Obama/Biden is going to ban hamburgers. They are going to force us to live in a nanny state - Trump supporters
Americans need to stop buying beef. Have some chicken instead. - The Trump administration

Bring forth the recipes, Rollins.

Tortilla chicken broccoli wrap,

Diced chicken broccoli with tortilla?

Minced broccoli stuffed chicken with "one other thing" tortilla.

What are the nutrition values? So curious what "affordable" caloric intake Brooke is promoting.

We're Palestinians. Expect bombed-out cities filled with the cries of starved, impoverished masses.

"a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, corn tortilla, and one other thing"

These people have absolutely no idea how stupid and weird they sound.

"It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed."

I wonder if Big Biz America realizes they're flirting with not just biting, but ripping the entire arm off those who feed them?

Instead of advising Americans to eat like Oliver Twist, the Trumpf junta should re-hire inspectors and regulators DOGE fired. The US is up to one food recall a day: drudge.com

Costco rotisserie chicken $5. Enough protein for 2.5 days, so $2.50 a day. Then eat some rice for 40 cents for the rest of your calories.

Even cheaper if you eat rice and beans instead of the fancy animal protein.

Or save enough money to buy a plastic bag to asphyxiate yourself. Cause that sounds better than what I just suggested.

It's varyingly inefficient to have an animal eat food that we can consume just so we can then eat the animal:

In a sort of related way, a few years ago I went through the drive through at an El Pollo Loco in Carlsbad at around 6 pm. They told me they were out of chicken. At an El Pollo Loco.

I knew a guy who called a pizza place; after they took his order, they asked his delivery address. He gave it, and then they said they had run out of dough. (He lived in the hood.)

A #10 can of chili at Costco, like Stagg or Cattle Drive brands, generally costs around $11 to $16.

Which equals 15 meals. (Avg)

That's a dollar a meal. (Avg)
