This years' Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca has been held amid extreme weather conditions which saw temperatures consistently soar above average figures.

Saudi Arabia requires each pilgrim to acquire one of the 1.8 million available licenses to legally access Mecca. These licenses can cost several thousand US dollars.

In 2024, Eid ul-Adha will begin on the evening of Sunday 16 June and end on the evening of Thursday 20 June.
(that's when they murder the goats)(so there's plenty of days-old goat blood there right now)
