Claiming that Nancy Pelosi Prevent National Guard from Responding to Capitol Attack maybe the worst lie Trump told last night. Or maybe it's the claim that murdering infants just after they're born is now legal. If you think he told a worse one let us know below:

Fmr Pres Trump is, and has been, such a serial liar for so long that his lying has been normalized.

How can any person who tells whoppers so consistently and often be said to have won the debate?

I notice that there has been a peculiar lack of MAGA praise for Trump's performance last night.

From the sub-article (is there a better name for that?)

... CNN defended its presidential debate moderators for not fact-checking Donald Trump's "firehose of lies" in real time, reminding critics that the duo's job was "facilitating ... not participating." ...

I agree 100% with CNN's decision.

The debate was a news event, with moderators asking questions and participants answering them. It should be reported as it occurred, with no "fact-checking" to pollute to reporting.

Indeed, in the past I have criticized CNN's reporting for inserting things into the reporting that seemed to create news and not report news. I am quite happy that was not done during this debate.

After the debate, CNN commentators can analyze the lies all they want, but not during the reporting.

"I didn't have sex with a pornstar" was my favorite.

It's just like - do you want a country run by a frail old man or a kleptocrat so dedicated to his flagrant lies that he literally wants the country to join him in a delusional alternate reality.

Taking Biden out of the equation for last night's debate.

-------:

1. Lied about his record
2. Lied about abortion
3. Lied about Ukraine
4. Lied about his immigration policy
5. Called America a disaster
6. Lied about having sex with a porn star
7. Refused to say he would accept a defeat in November
8. Confirmed he will go after his political opponents if re-elected
9. Claimed fanciful solutions to Israel-Gaza, Ukraine, Reporter held in Russia
10. Insulted countless immigrants

And those were his good points.

After sleeping on it, while last night was not good, I doubt this changed the situation too much.

If 34 felony convictions, being held liable for rape, a $500,000,000 judgement for fraud isn't enough to move the needle a bad debate performance wouldn't either

Face it, people have pretty fixed feelings on both candidates.

Keep on keeping on.

Me? My faith is in American women and their desire for rights.

Intact dilation and extraction
Wikipedia

In United States federal law, it is known as a partial-birth abortion .

Joe was a full on lying machine last night - and these were egregious lies. Despite getting away with the constant lies, he still got whipped so bad that Dems will try to replace him.

1. lied about telling people to inject bleach
2. lied with the debunked suckers and loser line
3. lied about the tax rate billionaires pay (this has been debunked countless times)
4. lied about the 'very fine people' - this was just re-debunked this past week
5. lied about the border patrol endorsing him
6. lied about post-birth abortion

Intact dilation and extraction was outlawed at the federal level in 2007 when the Supreme Court voted to uphold the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.

"Intact dilation and extraction was outlawed"

In 2000, although only 0.17% (2,232 of 1,313,000) of all abortions in the United States were performed using this procedure,[3] it developed into a focal point of the abortion debate. en.m.wikipedia.org

The success of the anti abortion movement is a tribute to the effectiveness of the propaganda model.

Here is what they banned.
As usual: The cruelty is the point.

As with non-intact D&E or labor induction in the second trimester, the purpose of D&E is to end a pregnancy by removing the fetus and placenta. Patients who have a fetus diagnosed with severe congenital anomalies may prefer an intact procedure to allow for viewing of the remains, grieving, and achieving closure.[4][5] However, other reasons that are not related to medical necessity or fetal anomalies might be a factor in these decisions. In cases where an autopsy is requested, an intact procedure allows for a more complete examination of the body.

An intact D&E is also used in abortions to minimize the passage of instruments into the uterus, reducing the risk of trauma. It also reduces the risk of cervical lacerations that may be caused by the removal of bony parts from the uterus and the risk of retention of fetal parts in the uterus such as brain matter and tissue.[4]

Which lie?

It's kind of hard to tell. He doesn't use any punctuation marks when he strings them all together in one big, disconnected ramble without taking a breath. It's the same B.S. he's been saying, repeatedly, like a jackhammer, since 2020.

I was surprised that President Biden took such a low-key approach. Truth is, he could have done a better job. I hope he can turn it around on the campaign trail. In fact, I think our lives depend on it ~ lest we end up in some monarchial nightmare with Trump wearing a crown and ermine robes.

President Biden is obviously waning. If he wins this election, I wonder how long before we'll be saying President Harris ~ which would still be a thousand times better than bowing to a self-appointed King, admittedly with maniacal abuse of power ambitions.

"Worst lie of the night was Biden claiming zero troops have been lost in his watch."

Pretty sure that wasn't the worst lie.

And here is the difference.

If you asked Biden about anything he said that wasn't exactly true he would probably say he misspoke and correct it. Maybe even apologize.

But if you asked Humpy Trumpy about any of his lies he would just double down and add two or three more lies to try and deflect or distract or just to keep you busy fact checking.

I like how the impact of this "lie" is limited to the troops killed by enemy action in Afghanistan, with no mention of the hundreds killed in accidents and hundreds more who took their own lives.

And she really does hold some (certainly not all) of the responsibility. She could have made some phone calls to a mayor and a few governors, and had some troops in the basement just in case. She didn't.

LOTS of us knew something bad was happening. It was discussed by antifa, and after discussions with DC, consensus was that it was a honeypot operation and the city was ready to handle the RWNJs, so the recommendation was to stay away. That's why there wasn't any real antifa presence that day.

Turns out the city was wrong, they weren't ready.

No, it's my way of pointing out you're a partisan hack, and it never bothered you enough to post about it until somebody with a (D) after his name did it.

Wake me up when he actually does so. You are apparently preemptively giving him credit for something he hasn't done. Further, when I point out his terrible lie, instead of just acknowledging, "Yeah, that was bad." You instead try to make it about me personally and of course come in with a Trump deflection.

Worst lie of the night was Biden claiming zero troops have been lost in his watch. He crapped on the families of the 16 soldiers who have been killed during his presidency.

FACTS:
Trump stated (previously) "We didn't lose one American soldier. Not one"... "And just as I'm coming off the stage, I think they had a tragic event in Buffalo, just as I'm coming on the stage, tragic event in Buffalo with numerous people being killed. In 18 months in Afghanistan, we lost nobody."

Reality:
From the wars Biden inherited:

The number of hostile action deaths under Biden from all the wars the US is engaged, including our withdrawal from Afghanistan is 26.
The number of hostile action deaths under Trump from all the wars the US is engaged, including our withdrawal from Afghanistan is 66. That's 2.54 times more deaths from hostile actions under Trump than Biden.

The number of wounded under Biden from all the wars the US is engaged, including our withdrawal from Afghanistan is 92.
The number of wounded under Trump from all the wars the US is engaged, including our withdrawal from Afghanistan is 616. That's 6.7 times more soldier's wounded under Trump than Biden.
