The feds have a law which was pushed by right wing turds just like this guy that is called the"Stolen Valor Act" and you can get into big trouble for lying about your service record especailly while claiming you were injured in combat and then collecting a disabled veterans pension on one big fat lie like this bum. I hope he gets found out before he wins any elections, but then again having convicted felons on the government upper branches seems to be the big deal these days for the right wing fascists. Also, the entire VA system is backlogged by these lying cowardly losers claiming they got injured in combat or in training and it makes things really hard on those that actually did get injured in the military and having to survive while waiting for their VA pension to finally get approved. You know, having no legs or eyes or being severely brain damaged and no check coming in while this filthy puke collects money for his lying ways and clogs up the system.
