Roberts acknowledged in a speech last September ...

Opus Dei

Ooh! I remember reading a world religions text about them in elementary school. Something about the Kwisatz Haderach, free canned spam, and Thetans.

We know from the Divinci Code that Opus Dei are an evil, dangerous group full of incels and assassins :-)

One big sadistic family. The Pope needs to excommunicate the entire organization and all of it members and contributors. Anyone have a POC for the Pope and for Opus Dei. Maybe the Midwest protestants of my youth were right, you can never trust a catholic.

The NYC address for Opus Dei is quite discreet, you have to know it's there, unlike the Scientology building in Manhattan which had a huge sign over it years ago.

Nota Bene: The first Jesuit Pope in history began defanging Opus Dei exactly two years ago.

'Twas because of the Pope, McD's introduced the Fish Filet sandwich in the early 1960s.

I met a Jesuit Priest at Santa Clara University Mission, a Jesuit school, in the early '80s to get the blessing of the Church as a non-Catholic about to marry a Catholic, although not Jesuit, girl.

If you've ever seen the John Wayne movie, The Quite Man, this priest and his office looked just like in the movie, complete with antiques, the cane, the shaggy dog, and a ton of old books.

He must have taken one look at me, a young suit working in the tech industry, and decided on the shock factor; as I sat across from him at his desk, he said:

"The world is trying to do this to you" and shot me the finger!

Well, he talked for another half hour or more, but I couldn't recall anything he said after that.

Corky

Thanks for the entertaining story.

I don't watch TV; all day I listen to music and read. One of the books I recently enjoyed was "The Entity", a non-fiction account of the Vatican intelligence service (adroitly run for five centuries by the Jesuits).
