"Joe Biden has immunity. He should ignore what partisan hack Aileen Cannon just did and release the Smith report immediately."

Wow, Cannon is sure werking hard for that next Supreme Court vacancy.

And if Garland keeps screwing around rather than releasing the Report, he's going to go down in history as an accomplice to the J6 Insurrection. if he hasn't already.

If there was ever any doubt as to her objectivity, this move erases it all.

Biden hasn't done anything to protect America from Trump and he's not going to start now.

Some folks actually read the order. Charges were dropped against Trump, but are still pending against codefendants. Walter Naura for example. Jack Smiths draft report lays out the case against Nauta ( the prosecutions side only) Nauta's defense is prohibited by existing gag orders from rebutting against the allegations publicly. Therefore releasing the report unfairlly prejudices any potential jury pool against defendant Nauta.

Now, class, that is the reason why the report should not be released at this particular time, and Cannons ruling merely postpones release pending an appeals court determination.

So, Can you give a MORE compelling reason why it should be released at this particular moment? Didn't think so.

Oh look, this guy has a compelling reason,

"Rep. Gerald Connolly, Va., the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, criticized Cannon's decision on Tuesday.

"DOJ must release its report on Trump's mishandling of classified documents by January 20 so that the American people can understand the full extent of the President-elect's unlawful possession of hundreds of the government's most sensitive documents," he said in a statement. "The public's right to know is paramount."

So yeah, Politics., disguised as the public's right to know BEFORE the inauguration? As if he thinks there is still a chance to stop it somehow?

Yeah, the DOJ is a separate, co-equal branch of government, and in this case, should just tell Cannon to pound sand. Release the report, my taxpayer dollars demand it.

FDT is a traitor, and his supporters are traitors, too. Release the report, let us all know how big a traitor he is, so we can stop having these useless "arguments" with MAGA idiots about this stuff.

If it is not released before january 20 it will never be released. Seems like a good reason to me.

Nauta will NEVER see the inside of a courtroom, like EVER.

FFS his co defendant can and will pardon him on day one.

Miranda dropped a nuclear bomb on this thread and the hyper partisans can't cope.

Two most corrupt, most corrupting influences in our legal system today.
First, the Supreme Corrupt Court with Clarence and the other far right bigots.
SEcond, Cannon being appointed to a lifetime cushy job by Trump and then ruling consistently to make sure Trump and his gang face no legal consequences for their actions. Trump clearly stole American papers and kept them at Mar a lago.
