Chinese-Owned TikTok Back after Trump Pledge

Around 12 hours after shutting itself down in the United States, TikTok is back for many users almost like it never left, attributing its return to a move by President-elect Donald Trump to save the app.

Call me crazy, but I think Trump is working in cahoots with the communist Chinese government on this whole "TikTok ban" thing.[image or embed]

At its apex, the temporarily deprovisioned Parler had fewer than 20 million accounts and peaked at just under 3 million daily active users. TikTok has more than 800 million active users across the world and 50 million in the US who log in every single day.

Surely Trump didn't set this all up, did he?
After all, there's NO WAY this country would elect a man president who had documented business dealings and profits from China! It's not as if the CEO of Tik-Tok is gonna be at the Inauguration and larghesse party afterwards, right? haha

I'm reminded of all the Republiturds breathlessly claiming Joe Biden had received millions from China ... and all of that disappeared like the nothingburger it was.

A related topic: didn't CONGRESS pass a bill requiring TikTok to shut down? If so, how can it be working again? I'm thinking Reagan and the Contras, part 2 here.

The law allows for an extension of a deal if it is in the works. Haven't heard of a buyer making an offer yet so it sounds like he is ignoring/stetching the law as usual.

It's painfully obvious though Trump is doing a bait and switch. So he can be the hero that saves tik tok after he convinced/pressured congress to ban it.

Yes, they did. And the Supreme Court agreed with them.

However, that not the end of the story. Stay tuned for Trump's grand Entrance into the Presidency when he will do everything in his power to earn the money TikTok paid him to come to their rescue.
