... The world's fourth-most-richest man " a good friend also of the world's richest man Elon Musk " insisted artificial intelligence is soon going to change everyone's lives "across the board." If governments want in, they'll need to gather all their data " spatial information, economic data, electronic healthcare records including genomic data, and info about infrastructure. Whatever they've got, basically. And put it all in one place to be analyzed by algorithms. The American multi-billionaire used the United States as an example, if not a goal. "I have to tell [the] AI model as much about my country as I can," Ellison said. "We need to unify all the national data, put it into a database where it's easily consumable by the AI model, and then ask whatever question you like," he said. "That's the missing link."

Could this be why Mr Musk is rummaging through the Federal government data systems, the harvesting of data?

Elon Musk will be tweeting and retweeting the SS number of the next judge that shuts him down. Or the next person that pisses him off on X.
Daring MAGA to steal identities. It's all about punishment and intimidation.

Trump made it this far by intimidating people and threatening them with his faceless online MAGA goons.
Look at the death threats Fauci and his daughters have had to endure. Fauci's "crime" was making a funny face on tv when Trump said something stupid.

Of course he does. He's a HUGE GOP donor. Enormous Trump supporter. What do you think Musk is doing right now? Vacuuming up all our personal data. Even the restricted information.
Keep in mind Vance just said that the US wants absolutely no controls on the development of AI in the US. Nothing. In fact he said that AI technology is the one technology that should not have any constraints on it whatsoever. Including weapons development.
Just think! What a brave new world we're ushering in.

We need to demand safety and security of our data from all executives that hold on to our public data, with mandatory criminal repercussions to those responsible for lost data. They take what is ours and then fail to protect. Either they protect it or they quit accumulating or they be incarcerated for years.

I would only support such a thing if they start to prosecute women for abortions. They should prosecute the father as well for impregnating her. It takes two to make a zygote.

I have a friend who has worked for Oracle for 20-something years. We are the same age (65). He looks 20 years younger than me. I asked him about it once:
"Heavy use of psychedelics and a brutal Zen regime."

Life is much easier when you presume this is already being done.

I thought it was by replacing Ellison's blood with the fresh, young, clean blood of DNA matched children. Hence the desire for a DNA/PI database. That and occasional organ grafts from the children (liver being the main one). The better the match, the better the results. Or so I've heard...

This is totally insane and, if we had a Congress, they should pass a bill to outlaw it.

For my friend, the psychedelics in the late 70s through the present. He originally found Buddhism when he was a teen and hasn't stopped.
I was told decades ago I looked like David Eisenhower, like anyone knew what David Eisenhower looked like.
Then there was the time I was in a Krispy Kreme and the ladies all agreed that I looked like Stephen King. I was pulled in two directions: impressed that the KK ladies knew what an author looked like -- yet horrified because Stephen King is one gruesome-looking b@stard.

ha! When I first got to college, Mark Spitz's picture was everywhere, and everyone I met would say, "Hey you look like Mark Spitz!"
I was 6'3" and he was a bit shorter, so I a would say, "Yeah, but he's short and wet.".
