"The dispute stems from AP's decision not to follow the president's executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico, although AP style does cite Trump's wish that it be called the Gulf of America.
The AP argued " and U.S. District Judge Trevor N. McFadden agreed last week " that the government cannot punish the news organization for exercising its right to free speech."

I disagree with what they are doing with the AP. As far as I can tell it is not a violation of the Constitution. AP's 1st amendment rights are not being infringed. Nevertheless this is petty AF.

What a riot.
If this was Obama banning Fox News, OANN, or Newsmax, you'd have no problem calling it a violation, again and again and again.
Hell, you'd be posting three threads a day on the topic.

It is always interesting, and somethings sadly humorous, to see MAGA supporters trying to justify the actions of Pres Trump, when if Pres Obama or Pres Biden had done anything even resolutely similar, the right-wing media propaganda sites would have lit up.

At the conference, Obama said that the U.S. had yet to develop a plan regarding the removal of ISIS, and talked extensively about his concerns in the region.[6][7] During the conference he wore a tan suit, which until that point was uncommon for Obama.[8] The light-colored suit was seen by conservative commentator and Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs as "shocking to a lot of people".[6] ...

As far as I can tell it is not a violation of the Constitution.
Another one that proudly demonstrates his utter ignorance of all things legal. As the Judge succinctly stated
No, the Court simply holds that under the First Amendment, if the Government opens its doors to some journalists" be it to the Oval Office, the East Room, or elsewhere"it cannot then shut those doors to other journalists because of their viewpoints. The Constitution requires no less ... .

Remember when Jeffy got pissed because Twitter wouldn't PROMOTE fake doctors with fake medical science on Twitter and spent months posting articles about it being censorship?
Yeah, we all remember.
Now we have an actual case of censorship where Trump punishes news organizations he disagrees with and a court order to stop, but Jeff says "It's fine, just petty."
JEFF! You have some orange on your nose.
