Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

A unanimous Supreme Court made it easier Thursday to bring lawsuits over so-called reverse discrimination, siding with an Ohio woman who claims she didn't get a job and then was demoted because she is straight. The justices' decision affects lawsuits in 20 states and the District of Columbia where, until now, courts had set a higher bar when members of a majority group, including those who are white and heterosexual, sue for discrimination under federal law. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote for the court that federal civil rights law draws no distinction between members of majority and minority groups.

So glad Boaz is on the white people parade. We need the help. Heaven knows I didn't accumulate all my multitudes for my good looks.

I mean, really. When I saw the headline I thought how odd/normal it would be for this to be a Boaz thread.

So no one even looks at the substance of the thread. That a bonafide case of racism is litigated in the courts and found to be true.

It's just not in the way you thought. And the only thing you can do is attack the poster. Classic progressiveness.

If there is not a better example of how progressives have ------ up the black community, I dont know one.

"That a bonafide case of racism is litigated in the courts and found to be true."

Yet you seem to want to roll back all civil rights issues to 1953.

Racism. Dragged through the court system for decades. Found to be true. Still happening.

You should be more interested in human rights.

And Boaz, we don't need to look at the substance of the thread. Just the headline and the poster. The rest takes care of itself.

Making America Great Again. Like in 1953

Now, according to the Supremes, white peoples have been discriminated against too long with all this "equal rights" stuff and they have a right to have their "white privilege" restored and they have the right to discriminate against Others based on their "religious beliefs".

If their personal god does like those colored people then they are allowed to discriminate against them now. By law.

Yes, and because of a law Congress wrote to allow native Americans to use hallucinogenic drugs in their religious ceremonies.

Scalia twisted that to mean any deeply held religious belief by a corporation can override any legal requirement.
