Jimmy Kimmel's wife, Molly McNearney, has alienated herself from her Trump supporting relatives who send her "truly insane" replies to her emails, underscoring the depth of the divide and the futility of her efforts to sway their opinions. Of course, she sees nothing insane about her feeling entitled to force her opinions on everyone else.

My thoughts are when getting together with family this season, everyone make a pact to leave politics at the door and don't waste the chance to actually enjoy the people you love.

Make your house a no politics zone for the holidays.

I have a different approach.

I don't spend my holidays, or any part of my life, with fascists and fascist sympathizers.

There's a saying in Germany: Wenn ein Nazi am Tisch sitzt und zehn andere Leute mit ihm reden, dann hat man einen Tisch mit elf Nazis.

(If there's a Nazi at the table and ten other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with eleven Nazis)

Snoofy,

"I don't spend my holidays, or any part of my life, with fascists and fascist sympathizers."

I'm sure they're really disappointed you don't show up.

Yeah we just don't invite my uncle and his wife, the only MAGAts in our extended family, to gatherings anymore. No one wants to have to hear their BS. Their kids and grandkids show up every year and we have a wonderful time.

Kind of telling that they chose to spend time with the rest of the family rather than their parents.

There's a saying in Germany ...

There is a saying in the old Jarhead Clan.

"The only good Nazi is a dead Nazi."

So you don't want to invite me or my clan to a dinner table with a Nazi.

It won't end well for the Nazi.
