The role of the MNARNG in the aftermath of the ICE invasion of Minnesota is unclear. The Minnesota National Guard has more than 13,000 personnel, including Citizen-Soldiers, Airmen, and civilian employees. The 34th Infantry Division falls under the MNARNG and is commanded by Major General Shawn P. Manke: MG Shawn P. Manke Bio
Investigating the homicide of Renee Nicole Good is the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), a 533-employee agency overseen by MN AG Keith Ellison: MBCA
The malevolent Trumpf junta calculated the numbers to gain tactical numerical superiority over Minnesota law-enforcement by deploying 2,000 Brownshirts. Minneapolis City PD (~600), Saint Paul PD (~575), and the Minnesota State Patrol (~886) are outnumbered if any Mayor or Governor Tim Walz want to use them to monitor, shoo away, arrest, or deter ICE agents.
Do the people of Minnesota want to see more heavily-armed dangerous personnel on their streets?

He needs to do it. ICE has tasted blood. They and Trump are disappointed the murder hasn't actually produced riots. ICE will try harder. There'll eventually be a breaking point and Trump will declares martial law.
The National Guard is needed to preserve the lives of citizens, ICE (who ARE going to get themselves killed eventually), and the Constitutional order.

Ms. Good was murdered.
I hope that the ICE goon responsible is indicted and sent to trial.
Let's let a jury decide if he was only protecting himself.

*** Minneapolis Closes Schools Because of Dangers Posed by ICE and US Border Patrol ***
"Minneapolis Public Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday "due to safety concerns related to today's incidents around the city." the district announced Wednesday night after a fatal ICE shooting earlier in the day in Minneapolis.
Armed US Border Patrol officers entered Minneapolis Roosevelt high school property during Wednesday's dismissal period.
All district programs, activities and athletics were also cancelled. The district won't move to e-learning, as that is only allowed in cases of severe weather.
The district said it will collaborate with the city on "emergency preparedness and response."

I see no per se reason why ICE wouldn't shoot up a school bus.

Oh good! For a minute there I was worried no Dem would be stupid enough to give Hair Furor cover for cancelling the next couple elections.

@#3 ... Let's let a jury decide if he was only protecting himself. ...
Agreed.
But will Pres Trump's DoJ even bring a case against him?

Governor Walz needs to deploy his national guard, in part to occupy them so that they cannot be commandeered by the Feds. If the guard is occupied in Brainard, well, then they cannot be on the streets of the Twin Cities, backing up hired gunslingers with badges...

That is a good idea. If Minnesota has the funds this plan might work: www.mprnews.org
Just think, 15 months ago Tim Walz was a potential VPOTUS; now he won't even seek re-election as governor.
What could have been in 2024.
