Tuberculosis rates in the U.S. rose by 16 percent in 2023, marking the third year that cases went up following nearly 30 years of decline.

NIH - Bacillus Calmette-Gurin (BCG) is the live attenuated vaccine form of Mycobacterium bovis used to prevent tuberculosis and other mycobacterial infections. The vaccine was developed by Calmette and Gurin and was first administered to human beings in 1921. BCG is the only vaccine against tuberculosis.

And CDC - BCG does not always protect people from getting TB.

Sad they actually have to say that but the #COVIDJAB, made it clear the moron base doesn't understand how vaccines work and are in pure denial.

Roughly 85 percent of TB cases in the U.S. are believed to be a result of latent TB being reactivated as opposed to recent transmission.

USA is not a vaccinated population for TB. Maybe the Phillipines.
I have had multiple screenings, but never the vaccine, irregardless the population I am working with.

Just a reminder, the article is about TB. There currently is a vaccine, www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
It is not used in the US.
38 years ago I was the MO for a prison and we had an outbreak. Intensive surveillance, isolation and treatment. We never really considered vaccinating throughout the state system.
Later named in a law suit for violating inmates civil rights by 'intentional and willful' introduction of a fatal disease into the prison. They lost and I said ------ and left.
