This privileged political and legal class was really sure that they were too protected to ever go to jail. More and more of them are, and will, find out that that's not always true.

Why Justice Gorsuch? #4 | POSTED BY LAMPLIGHTER
Does Gorsuch oversee the district Navaro's case was in?
IDK that is the only thing that comes to mind.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out they have blackmail on him.
Probably why they seated him, he's their *itch.

One can assume that Navarro's lawyers had a little pre-paid time on the clock so decided to burn it with a time-wasting petition that they knew would go nowhere. As for Slovenly Steve Bannon, get him off the street, and like in Shawshank Redemption, hit him with a fire hose and some de-lousing powder. Twice. Yuck...

Under Supreme Court Rule 22, applications of this sort must begin with the Justice that oversees the Circuit from which the case arose. In this case that was Justice Roberts as he oversees the DC Circuit. Renewal of that application, which is what's happening now, can be directed to any individual Justice, who then has the option of deciding it themselves or referring it to the Court. My guess would be that Gorsuch was chosen because (a) he's a Republican and (b) he has a reputation for being friendly to criminal defendants.

#7 I agree; this request has a 0% chance of success, but Trumpers who make $40k/year had probably already been grifted by the law firm.

". More and more of them are, and will, fin,d out that that's not always true".....unless, of course, Trump is able to steal the election as did Bush!
