Clark received offers of $16 million over four years from Under Armour and $6 million over four years from Adidas, with both including a signature shoe, according to the WSJ.

Her marketability is enhanced by her polished performances in media settings, and her surprise appearance on "Saturday Night Live" two weeks ago was widely acclaimed and exposed her to an even wider audience.

The reported eight-year contract with Nike shows the sportswear giant's commitment. At 22, Clark could play well over a decade in the WNBA and she could be on the U.S. roster for the Olympics in Paris this year, in Los Angeles in 2028 and Brisbane, Australia, in 2032.

The Caitlin Clark rocket is on the launching pad and ready for take off.

Good. She deserves it.
They can't give her a decent salary,
but at least the endorsements came through.

I do agree but Social Media made athletes all work on branding. It was much easier when it was say Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird. They basically showed up and did shoots. Social media just plain old stinks.

"Throughout his career as a pro golfer, Tiger Woods has earned about $1.8 billion, according to an estimate by Forbes. Woods has also earned a record-setting $121 million in prize money from PGA tours.

However, Woods' impressive earnings from golf are not the only way he amassed his wealth"in fact, they account for less than 10% of his net worth, according to Forbes. The rest of his fortune comes from major endorsement deals and a series of business ventures."

Caitlin is a massive star. Jordan's come in ladies sizes. Wonder if Nike would attempt to make Caitlin's shoes in men's sizes, or just stick to women's sizes?

Just like Sabrina Ionescu's signature shoe, Nike will most certainly make CC22's in every size from newborn to Shaq's size 22s. Currently, Ionescu's shoe is worn by dozens of NBA players. Depending upon style, composition, and customization options, there is no reason Clark's shoe won't instantly become one of Nike's best sellers.
