It's hard work, destroying a nation's infrastructure.

How many Judas Iscariots can America produce, all willing to sell their souls for 30 pieces of silver? The US is a massive factory producing vultures and locusts and we're the meals. Thank you Republican voters for making life easier for the oligarchs and harder for the rest of us.

Even harder work to ---- it up..... but here we are.

The median salary for federal employees in Washington, D.C. is around $108,778 per year. (not including benefits)

smartasset.com

In Maryland:

Median federal worker income: $137,624
Federal workers per capita: 0.02338
Number of federal workers: 144,497
Minimum federal worker income: $19,993
Maximum federal worker income: $519,246

While Washington, D.C. has the highest median salary, other states with a significant federal presence, like Maryland and Virginia, also have relatively high median salaries for federal employees.

Not sure this is the gotcha moment Lumpers think it is.

Re: #3...There a old tie-dyed hippie that still hangs around in the '60s cave in my memory hole that constantly reminds me that karma is real, no matter whether one believes in it or not. TrumpCo is obviously attempting to insist the goose lay a egg so big it most assuredly will die trying to lay it. Allegory, bitches!

I don't think it's defending Musk or DOGE to point out the level of the salaries isn't going to shock or outrage folks very much.

The existence of DOGE and Musk is bad enough to be sure...but the actual salaries posted? I don't see much blowback from that.

DOGE has no purpose other than to destroy the federal government.

Neither Elon, nor his incel man boys deserve to be paid shhht.

Unfortunately, The Republican party is the party of Putin, and the destruction of America is their only goal.

Must be nice to not care.

Most Americans are gonna realize that they're taking Musk's actions for granted.

Unfortunately, they're only going to wake up when it's too late.

@#7 ... 6 figure for GS enployee in DC region is very common DC Pay scale ...

Exactly.

The employer needs to pay competitive salaries to attract good people.

Looked at from a different angle than how it seemed to be presented in #4, the Federal Government seems to pay the workers it needs according to the competitive salaries of the area. So, what is wrong with that?

That would be A Good Thing to attract the qualified people that the Federal Government needs, no?

Musk/Doge hasn't demonstrated that any of their people are the least bit competent or qualified.

I blame the ketamine. Elmo got a little excited.

He meant to say they would work for a compensation package with a lot of zeros in it.

Which just goes to illustrate the apparently known weakness of the comment that current alias has posted.
