Looks like diseases really can negatively affect our economy.
Therefore the appropriate thing to do now is to eliminate CDC the FDA and withdraw from WHO and end all pandemic research and put a anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorist with a brain worm in charge of HHS.

Eggs are $3.97/doz where I live, and $5.88 for a 18 pack - if you buy the retail garbage.

For the last couple of weeks or so, we've been paying $4.49/dozen for White Jumbo, Cage-Free eggs at Trader Joe's, which is 50 cents LESS than for White Large, Cage-free eggs (I can't explain it and neither can the people working in the store). Before the recent bird-flu epidemic, the normal price for a dozen White Large, Cage-Free eggs at Trader Joe's was $2.49. At the local Ralph's and Albertson's the price for a dozen White Large, Cage-Free eggs have been running eight or nine dollars or more.

Maybe it's time to take a look at the idiotic concept that the answer to bird flu is killing millions of healthy chickens.
Because that's really f--king stupid.

Now we get to wait and see how the egg farmers just keep the higher prices intact, once their supply increases.

This is hilarious.
Dems stepped on their collective lady dicks when they chose to focus the public's attention on egg prices prior to the SOTU address thinking it would make Trump look bad. Subsequently, prices have plummeted making Trump look superhuman in his ability to take action and keep promises while also making the Democrats look incompetent for saying nothing could be done to lower food prices or illegal immigrants crossing the border.
Now, they have their usual suspects trying to run cover to say...well yeah, egg prices have come down 50% since the start of the year BUT they are still high historically. Do you -------- hear how dumb you sound? You really think this nonsense plays well with middle America?

Which is not what the chart showed in the article you didn't read.
I'll celebrate the day when one of these ConservaIdiots actually reads beyond the headline before rushing to the comments section to flap their woefully ignorant yapper.

MAGA yelled that high egg prices were caused by Biden (rather than bird flu).
Trump said he was going to fix inflation "on Day 1." Hm. MAGA and Trump lied again.
