In a couple of weeks Der Dotard will be lauded by his supporters for sexing down teen girls. He will be the envy of all the mouth-breathers. Even the MAGA Gals will think it OK, because, you know, he's a virile man and has to be satisfied...

Donald Trump has sued Rupert Murdoch and two Wall Street Journal newspaper reporters for libel and slander over claims that he sent sex offender Jeffrey Epstein a bawdy note and sketch of a naked woman.

Trump's lawsuit on Friday, which also targets Dow Jones and News Corp, was filed in the southern district of Florida federal court in Miami.

Trump has faced an extraordinary backlash from his own supporters over the Epstein files.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll this week found that 69% of respondents thought the federal government was hiding details about Epstein's clients, compared to 6% who disagreed and about one in four who said they unsure."

Sounds like the Base is down from about 33 percent to 25 percent. That's a bit of progress.

This is a much better place': WSJ bombshell unites a frayed MAGA
www.politico.com

... Some of President Donald Trump's aides and closest allies breathed a sigh of relief Friday as the MAGA base, once sharply divided over the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, rallied to the president's defense and trained their ire on a common enemy: the media.

The Wall Street Journal's report alleging Trump sent a lewd birthday letter to Epstein offered the administration and the president's supporters a chance to shift the narrative to more comfortable ground where Trump is the victim and the so-called elites are the target. And they believe it gives credence to the president's argument earlier this week that the Epstein story has been a "witchhunt" that plays into Democrats' hands.

"Thank God for Dems and media overreach on this," said a person close to the administration, granted anonymity to speak candidly. "It saves us every time." ...

Trump sues Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch over Epstein article
www.nbcnews.com

... President Donald Trump on Friday took legal action less than 24 hours after The Wall Street Journal published an article saying Trump sent a letter to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 that included a drawing of a naked woman.

The lawsuit, which seeks at least $10 billion in damages and a jury trial, names the Journal's parent company, News Corp.; its publisher, Dow Jones; two reporters for the newspaper; News Corp. owner Rupert Murdoch, and chief executive Robert Thomson, as the defendants.

"We have just filed a POWERHOUSE Lawsuit against everyone involved in publishing the false, malicious, defamatory, FAKE NEWS 'article' in the useless 'rag' that is, The Wall Street Journal," Trump wrote on Truth Social. ...

@#14 ... And it's probably not improper. ...

I agree about the assignment not being improper.

But then there seems to be a question about the lack of Judges in that district (and other Florida districts).

If there seems to be a shortage of Judges in that district, then the cases presented to that district seem to be more likely to be presented before the Trump-friendly [I tone down my opinion] Judge Cannon.

But that leads me to ask, why does there seem to be a shortage of Judges in that district and other districts in Florida?

Could it be that there are already enough Trump-friendly Judges, so no need to risk appointing new Judges?
