The problem isn't necessarily all about Trump. We've known long before Jan 6 that he is a no-good self-promoter and racketeer who grifts off the American taxpayer whom he expects to pay his way to a dictatorship.

The other part of the 3-part problem is voters who keep voting for Trump's enablers in Congress. Be smart enough to axe both houses down to a small minority in 2026 and the biggest part of the problem will be solved.

Part three is the Roberts Court who have "For Sale" written all over their backs and whether or not we even have a presidential election in 2028 ~~ at least not one we'd recognize ~~ (ala Russian style.)

For years Republican voters have failed to realize that by voting for any Republican, State or Federal, is the same as slitting their own throat.

So, let's try to stick to the 21st Century. Trump is rapidly trying to throw an impenetrable autocratic net around this country and the only way (well, there is one other way) to stop is to vote while we still have a chance.

I agree. Trump seems to be heading in that direction. Although he has probably opened a can of worms with gerrymandering in Texas.

Trump is more aware than anyone that he's running out of time, even for 2028. My guess is that he's going to be hitting hard and hitting low. If he keeps control of the House and Senate, our goose is surely cooked.

Although Trump may come away with clean hand is Epstein's death, I am quite certain he is capable of murder to get what he wants. In his deranged mental state, dissenting to murder would be a short trip.

Imagine what kind of dictator he'd make with full-blown Alzheimer.
