But by the end of July, it was clear the city's reliable summer wave of Canadian visitors would not arrive this year. Buffalo's struggle reflects a broader downturn in international tourism to the U.S. that travel analysts warn could persist well into the future. From northern border towns to major hot spots like Las Vegas and Los Angeles, popular travel destinations reported hosting fewer foreign visitors this summer. Armed and masked sweep squads of goons in the streets, just for openers, in a nation drowning in a firearms epidemic? This isn't a blip; it's systemic. Oh, and loud mouthing, xenophobic MAGAts tossed into the mix? Hahahahahaha. Fuhgedaboudit.

I think I saw this a week ago, flying home from London to DFW.
The plane was EMPTY.
The last time I did this, a mere two months ago, the plane was FULL.

"It's going to last for a generation, and that's what Republicans want." people of other nations are tired of him Republicans with businesses want that? I doubt it. I think they have probably underestimated the effects of their policies on the choices made by foreigb tourists who can choose from many destinations. The arrogance of Trump threateningeven the use of military force to take over parts of nations that have been close allies for many decades cannot be ignored. He's a rude, loud mouthed jerk and and his threats,

Who wants to risk arrest for speaking a foreign language in public?
Who would want to vacation in occupied cities?
Who wants to visit ideologically sanitized museums?
Who wants to go to national parks full of trash and overflowing pit toilets because they don't have the staff they need to clean them?
